about
“Bitch Fit” is Strange Breed’s first release of 2022. The track explodes with pop-punk guitar hooks and relatable, tongue-in-cheek lyrics that hold themes of empowerment in the wake of your mental health being a struggle. Channeling the spirit of looking one’s self in the mirror and screaming words of motivation, it inspires the listener to build themselves up to be their own idol while reclaiming “nasty” words typically used in degradation; finding strength and beauty in the messiness of life to forge ahead and kick a**. The track showcases a lighter and poppier side of the band, while maintaining signature elements such as their complex drum performance, riotous guitar riffs that cut, and powerhouse vocals complimented by harmonies that are equally memorable unto themselves. Unlike previous tracks, the band has vocal harmonies running through almost the entire track, creating a visual of a group singing together and building each other up to be their most unstoppable selves.
lyrics
I am the real bitch
I am a home-run
Is this a quick fix?
About as easy as a twelve-hour bitch fit
I am a healer
I am destroyer
Is this a feeling?
I wouldn’t know cause, I barely know her
I’m not well
But I’m better now
It’s hard to tell cause... I’m alright, I’m alright
I’m you’re addiction
I am a dealer
Backdoor affliction
Take your money leave you wanting more
I’m not your plaything
I am a queen whore
I’m not your mother
I’m a motherfucker you can’t afford
I’m not well
But I’m better now
It’s hard to tell cause... I’m alright, I’m alright
I can’t tell
If I’m bitter still
The sweetness tells me… I’m alright, I’m alrig
I’m alright, I’m alright, I’m alright
I’m not well
But I’m better now
It’s hard to tell cause... I’m alright, I’m alright
I can’t tell
If I’m bitter still
The sweetness tells me… I’m alright, I’m alright
I’m alright, I’m alright, I’m alright
I’m alright, I’m alright!
