about
Originally released in December 27 2021, re-released independently July 10, 2022.
"Tigers" although laden with anthemic hooks, was written about the painful and rocky ordeal of removing a personal friendship from your life. "The line, 'you're not a hunter, in the eyes of a thousand tigers you're just meat, meat to be devoured, and I can't wait to set you free,' describes when we realize that person is not who - or what - we thought. A veil is lifted, the mask is removed, and we decide how to move on," says Nicolle Bell-Dupas.
lyrics
You’re not the shit
You leave lots to be desired
You’re not a hunter
In the eyes of a thousand tigers, you’re just meat
Meat to be devoured
And I can’t wait to set you free
I can’t wait until you tell me
Tell me what you’re really feeling
Am I half awake or make believing
Could ya, tell me what you’re really feeling…
Tell me what you’re really feeling
Am I half awake or make believing
Tell me what you’re really feeling…
Tell me your opinion
Tell me I’m mean
I guess it’s alright if you wanna blame me
Ask for forgiveness, but it's not what you need
Is it ‘cause we didn’t kiss at fifteen?
Tell me what you’re really feeling
Am I half awake or make believing
Tell me what you’re really feeling…
Ah, ah, ah
Ah Ah
Tell me your opinion
Tell me I’m mean
I guess it’s alright if you wanna blame me
Ask for forgiveness, but it's not what you need
Is it cause we didn’t kiss at fifteen?
Tell me what you’re really feeling
Could ya…
Tell me what you’re really feeling
Am I half awake or make believing
Tell me what you’re really feeling…
